IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FREE DOWNLOAD OF FontExplorer X v4.2.4

PLEASE NOTE: If you are already on FEX v4 or higher, please visit us at https://www.fontexplorerx.com/download/ to find the right update for you.

If you are not already on FontExplorer X v4 or higher, you can download this software for free as a courtesy. Or you may purchase an upgrade license to the latest v6 at https://www.fontexplorerx.com/products/ and choose the “upgrade” option.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to use this FEX v4 software, you must be on MacOS 10.6+. Please make sure you upgrade your OS before proceeding.

Step 1. Download the installer package here.

Step 2. Unzip the downloaded package to your desktop or other known location.

Step 3. Double-click the .dmg installer file.
Step 4. Follow the instructions for accepting the End User License Agreement.

Step 5. Double-click the installer icon or drag the FontExplorer X into the Applications folder.
Step 6. Run the newly installed Font Explorer X Pro v4.2.4 application.

Step 7. Follow the steps to accept the agreement and continue.

Step 8. When prompted, click “Select” to apply an already purchased license file.
Step 9. In the find a file dialogue box, select the license file unpacked in step 2 above. It will be where the installer file is located. Click “Open”.
Step 10. Continue through the install setup. If you’d like to setup a new font directory or move font files from a different installation to a new directory you can do so during the setup process. You can also import all fonts on your machine (including a folder managed by previous FontExplorer X Pro installations).

Step 11. Once complete, you can begin to use this version of FEX without interruption.
