FontExplorer X Server capabilities
- Returns control of font access rights to a central administrator who can access an administration interface from any desktop client within the network
- Distributes fonts and font sets over the entire network while providing users with the freedom to customize sets and preferences for their local fonts
- Facilitates the creation of logical font groups, whether you want to group data by workgroup, project, employee type or font style
- Allows for easy monitoring of which fonts are used by which users to ease licensing compliance (with our optional Fontwise® solution that runs in parallel with FontExplorer X Server, recommended for organizations for overseeing a comprehensive font licensing program)
- Features a speedy and reliable SQL-based architecture that scales smoothly as your organization grows
- Has an intuitive interface that continues the logical design of the original FontExplorer X end user application
- Protects font assets with a backup functionality that allows administrators to recover fonts and settings with ease
- You have the option to get access to font libraries from the Linotype®, Monotype® and ITC® collections, offering you a versatile and inspiring selection of typefaces to draw from, such as the Times New Roman®, Helvetica® and ITC Franklin Gothic™ typeface families.
