Powerful font handling
Organize your fonts just like your media files – using a library, folders, tags and smart sets. Set up easy access to all typefaces from a certain foundry or all fonts tagged with a certain keyword. FontExplorer X Pro recognizes fonts and formats automatically. You decide whether FontExplorer X Pro should take control over the folder structure, or not – the software is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible.
Print functionality
FontExplorer X Pro now includes a versatile new printing feature that allows users to print detailed typefaces showings of all fonts installed on their system using preformatted or customizable templates. Template customization is easily performed by dragging and dropping page elements and through a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) preview that dynamically updates as page elements are added or removed.

FontExplorer X Pro shows virtually every bit of information a font file can contain. You can examine the complete character set, become familiar with legal information or just see a few sample paragraphs to preview what a font looks like before committing to its use. You can even compare kerning pairs.
Built-in online store
Our integrated shopping solution lets you browse and experiment with fonts as if they were installed on your computer. Check out the latest or top-selling fonts, render typefaces in custom text strings or examine character sets or individual glyphs. Once you find a design you like, purchase and download it with only a few clicks.
Save your data, save time
FontExplorer X Pro has several tools and full backup capabilities which make it easy for you to save the state of your machine. Fonts, sets, smart sets and preferences can easily be restored should your system need to be set up again. And if you want to share your configuration with your co-worker, you can even create a “Quick Installer” that includes the application itself.
Server integration
FontExplorer X Server boasts an easy-to-use admin interface which can be accessed from every desktop client within the network. The solution features license management capabilities to help the network administrator manage font licenses and stay legal. FontExplorer X Server is also able to distribute fonts and font sets over the entire network while still providing users with the freedom to customize sets and preferences locally.
